Governance at Prosper Multi Academy Trust

Effective governance is key to the success of our Trust and schools. Our governance structure ensures clear accountability, strong leadership, and strategic direction.

The Trust Board

The Prosper MAT Board of Trustees provides oversight and support across the Trust. The Board is responsible for:

• Setting the strategic vision and direction of the Trust.
• Ensuring financial probity and effective resource management.
• Upholding high standards of education, safeguarding, and wellbeing.

Our Trustees bring expertise from education, finance, law, and community leadership.

Local Governing Bodies

Each school within the Trust has a Local Governing Body (LGB) which works closely with the school leadership team to:

• Monitor the school’s performance and standards.
• Provide support and challenge to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong links with the local community.
